from 30 January to 1 February 2020
at the Grand Palais in Paris.
Selected by Microsoft as part of its “Microsoft for Start-ups” program, we were on display at the Redmond giant’s booth.
We presented Nutrimix, an automated plant nutrition solution developed in-house, which uses algorithms to optimize water and nutrient inputs.
This tool allows Futura Gaïa farms to display exceptional sobriety in the consumption of natural resources, particularly water.
The event was an opportunity to meet many actors of innovation and change and also to exchange with a very large number of visitors on the multiple aspects of our project: AI applied to precision agriculture, types of crops, agronomic interest of living soil, technical operations, continuous improvement scenarios, market and business models.
These numerous exchanges confirmed the need for a complementary solution to traditional open-field agriculture, thus validating Futura Gaïa’s positioning as a precursor of precision agriculture in living soil and in a controlled environment.
